1、 Lithium ion batteries

(1) Lithium ion batteries with a single capacity not exceeding (including) 10Ah

This type of battery is generally used in various coal mine safety instruments and meters, and does not separately issue safety signs for mining products, but should meet the following requirements:

(1) Do not use lithium cobalt oxide and ternary lithium-ion batteries

(2) Incorporated into Class C controlled component management

(3) An inspection report issued by a national or ministerial level testing and inspection agency within 3 years is required, and the safety performance index of the battery shall not be lower than the provisions of Article 4.4 of MT/T 1051-2007 "Lithium ion Batteries for Mining Lights".

(4) When sealing batteries with pressure relief valves, an exhaust port should be reserved at the pressure relief valve

(5) The equipment should detect the voltage, voltage, current, and other parameters of each lithium-ion battery, and the detected information display and fault alarm function should meet practical needs

(6) When the battery pack is powered, the type, specifications, and technical parameters of the individual batteries should be consistent, and they should be products produced by the same manufacturer.

(7) Lithium ion batteries used in intrinsically safe and sealed equipment should not only meet the relevant requirements of GB3836.1-2010, GB3836.4-2010, or GB3836.9-2006, but also:

A. The total energy should not exceed 100Wh

B. The battery should be placed in a separate battery compartment, and the sealing equipment does not require it

C. Equipped with single battery overcharge voltage protection, single battery discharge voltage protection, charging overcurrent protection, discharge overcurrent protection, and output short circuit protection functions

(8) Lithium ion batteries used in explosion-proof electrical equipment should not only meet the relevant requirements of GB3836.1-2010 GB3836.2-2010, but also meet the following requirements:

A. The battery should be placed in an independent and protective battery compartment, and the protective circuit should be placed outside the compartment. When the rated energy of the battery pack is greater than 200Wh, the battery pack should be placed separately in an explosion-proof chamber and able to withstand a 1.5MPa water pressure test. The protective circuit should be placed outside the explosion-proof chamber.

B. The maximum energy of a lithium-ion battery pack in an explosion-proof chamber should not exceed 32KWh

C. When the rated energy of the battery pack is ≤ 200Wh, the battery management system should have functions such as single battery overcharge voltage protection, single battery discharge voltage protection, charging overcurrent protection, discharge overcurrent protection, output short circuit protection, and temperature protection

D. When the rated energy of the battery pack is greater than 200Wh, it should meet the relevant requirements in the Implementation Rules for the Review and Issuance of Safety Signs for Mining Products - Electrical Equipment - Explosion proof Battery Power Supplies.

(2) Lithium ion batteries with a single capacity exceeding 10Ah

1. Mining product safety signs should be obtained in accordance with the Implementation Rules for Review and Issuance of Safety Signs for Mining Lithium ion Batteries.

2. When mining products (such as backup power sources) use lithium-ion battery packs with a single capacity exceeding 10Ah, in addition to meeting the corresponding audit and issuance implementation rules for each product, they should also meet the Supplementary Safety Technical Requirements for Mining Product Lithium ion Batteries (Single Capacity>10Ah)

2、 Nickel hydrogen battery

This type of battery is generally used in various coal mine safety instruments and meters, and does not separately issue safety signs for mining products, but should meet the following requirements:

(1) The individual capacity should not exceed 20Ah

(2) Incorporated into Class C controlled component management

(3) An inspection report issued by a national or ministerial level testing and inspection agency within 3 years is required, and the technical indicators and performance requirements of the battery should meet the provisions of GB/T 22084.2-2008.

(4) When sealing batteries with pressure relief valves, an exhaust port should be reserved at the pressure relief valve

(5) Should be placed in an independent and protected battery compartment

(6) When the battery pack is powered, the type, specifications, and technical parameters of the individual batteries should be consistent, and they should be products produced by the same manufacturer.

3、 Nickel cadmium battery

(1) The technical indicators and performance requirements of nickel cadmium batteries should meet the relevant requirements of GB/T 22084.1-2008

(2) Incorporated into Class C controlled component management

(3) When sealing batteries with pressure relief valves, an exhaust port should be reserved at the pressure relief valve

(4) Should be placed in an independent and protected battery compartment

(5) When the battery pack is powered, the type, specifications, and technical parameters of the individual batteries should be consistent, and they should be products produced by the same manufacturer.

4、 Special type lead-acid batteries for coal mines

(1) The special type lead-acid batteries used in coal mines are limited to the power use of underground transport vehicles, and safety signs should be obtained in accordance with the requirements of the Implementation Rules for the Review and Issuance of Safety Signs for Mining Products - Special type lead-acid batteries.

(2) Special lead-acid batteries (including lead crystal batteries) are strictly prohibited from being used in explosion-proof and sealed equipment.
